Duties and Responsibilities:

Posting on our social media pages regularly: primarily in the run-up to concerts but also between concerts.

Trying to keep the content varied, interesting, and engaging.

Making social media posts visually appealing.

Posting information and updates on the social media as required.

Responding to people’s messages, questions, and comments on the social media.

Creating a Facebook event for the concert.

Trying to advertise concerts and increase ticket sales.

Trying to increase reach and followers and generally promote Odyssey.

Understanding the target audience.

Keeping an eye on social media statistics.

Sharing links to professional photos and videos from concerts on the players’ group chat.

Completing occasional administration jobs as and when required.

Helping out fellow team members as and when required. Helping out generally.
Person Specification:
No experience required! The point of this role is to give someone professional development and experience. So ideally, you’re someone who’s looking to get work experience, wanting to work on your professional development, or you just love Odyssey! However, here are some things that we’re looking for:

A good understanding of social media (particularly Instagram and Facebook).

Good IT skills.

Organised and reliable.

Proactive, flexible, and adaptable.

Available for regular team meetings. Able to set aside time in the week/weekends even if you work or study full-time.

A team player.

Social with good interpersonal skills.

Creative, able to think outside of the box.
Remuneration: £500 per concert (this also includes work in between concerts).
